Awarded a $44.8 Million United States Marine Corps Contract

FORT WORTH, TEXAS, September 25, 2013 – Elbit Systems of America, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., has been awarded a $44.8M Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the ongoing depot level service and support of the US Marine Corps AH-1W Super Cobra Helicopter’s Night Targeting System (NTS). Elbit Systems of America’s Merrimack facility received the contract for services and support to be performed over the next five years. Separate delivery orders will be issued to satisfy each year’s requirements of the nine weapons replaceable assemblies (WRA) that make up the NTS.

“The award is representative of more than 20 years of successful performance and customer satisfaction on both the NTS and successor NTS Upgrade (NTSU) programs,” stated Elbit Systems of America President and CEO Raanan Horowitz. “Our mission is to provide systems and services that protect and save lives. We look forward to the opportunity to provide rapid, quality support for our men and women in uniform.”

The Elbit Systems of America Merrimack facility was initially designated as the repair depot in 1992. It has provided continuous product support for NTS WRAs returned from each worldwide deployment location, supporting high levels of availability and turn-around time. To best support the USMC fleet readiness and operational capability, the NTS product support team continues to provide regular meetings with the fleet, on-call squadron level support, and training of customer technicians.
