          Employees of Elbit America recognize and embrace the responsibility to steward natural resources and operate sustainably. We work continuously to protect and preserve the environment by incorporating measures that reduce our resource consumption while exploring new ways to minimize our environmental impact.           Supplier Sustainability

          We evaluate our Fort Worth site suppliers on environmental stewardship in order to ensure they are aligned with our environmental efforts and goals. In 2021, we monitored hundreds of our supply chain business partners via supplier evaluations. Of the suppliers monitored:

          86% HAVE A COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY / ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
          81% have a recycling/energy conservation program
          36% meet ISO 14001 certification

          Hazardous Waste Management

          To keep our employees and communities safe, Elbit America works to ensure that any chemicals used in our operations recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as ‘toxic’ are handled and disposed of in accordance with all applicable safety standards, state and federal environmental regulations, laws, rules, and guidelines. Additionally, managing any hazardous waste created by Elbit America’s operations is critical to the success of our company and is an active part of our enterprise risk management strategy.

          Environment Management

          Our Environmental Compliance Policy applies to all employees. It states that Elbit America will fully comply with all applicable federal, state and local environmental laws, rules, regulations and guidelines with respect to waste management, water management, data management, energy management and chemical management.

          Recycling

          We launched our recycling program in 2013, which allows and encourages Elbit America employees to recycle paper, cardboard, plastic, electronics scrap, lead and metals. Since then, our data shows a 21.3% increase in waste diversion, from 10.8% to 31.3%.

          Data Management

          Environmental data is collected and managed by our Director of Environmental, Energy, Health & Safety who receives information from sites every month. This data is reported to the Chief Operations Officer quarterly along with progress against internal environmental goals. Data collected monthly and aggregated quarterly from sites include:
