We recognize that our people are our greatest asset, and we are passionate about looking for ways to better support our employees’ health and wellbeing – inside and outside of the workplace. Some of the ways we support our people’s work-life balance is by offering employees unlimited PTO options, a week-long, mandatory holiday season shutdown period and the opportunity to work a 9/80 work schedule.
Our 9/80 program looks at a two-week period and splits the business days into eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day. During the first week, Elbit America’s employees work 9 hours a day Monday through Thursday, with Friday being an 8-hour day. During the second week, team members work 9 hours a day Monday through Thursday but have Friday off. This means our employees who opt into this working schedule receive 26 three-day weekends per year.
