Savoie has an exceptional track record as a leader and innovator, with extensive experience in the defense and aerospace industry.

"It is an honor to lead Elbit America – a company renowned for its excellence, ethics and innovation," said Savoie. "I’m excited to move into this next phase and help our talented workforce innovate new solutions to meet our customers’ most challenging needs. "

Elbit America’s Board of Directors expresses deep gratitude to Horowitz’s unwavering commitment to and exemplary leadership of the company. Horowitz will continue to support Elbit America as Executive Advisor until his retirement on March 31, 2024.

“We are grateful to Raanan and thankful for the decades of service he devoted to Elbit America – especially the 16 years serving as President and CEO,” said Robert (Bob) Johnson, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Elbit Systems of America. “Under his leadership the company experienced tremendous success and growth - both acquisitively and organically - from about $500 million in revenue when Raanan’s tenure began, to more than $1.4 billion in 2022.”
