ROBERT D. (BOB) JOHNSON
Mr. Johnson is Chairman and Director of Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc., former Chairman and CEO of Honeywell Aerospace, former CEO of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, and former CEO of Allied Signal Aerospace. He currently serves as a Director of Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, Freeport Minerals Corporation, and Spirit Airlines.
He has served as the Chairman and Director of Aerospace Industries Association, and as the Non-Executive Chairman of Aerospace, a division of Honeywell International Inc. Mr. Johnson has been an Independent Director at Roper Technologies, Inc., and serves as a Director of DragonTech International, LLC, a Board Member of the Aviation Safety Alliance, the Drug Free Arizona Organization, and is a Member of Conquistadores Del Cielo.. He has also served as a Director of Medlink Tecnologies, Inc. and Ariba Inc.
For Freeport-McMoRan Corporation, Mr. Johnson serves as a Member of the Compensation & Management Development Committee, the Environmental, Health & Safety Committee, and the Audit Committee.
Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from Miami University of Ohio. He was named International Executive of the Year by Miami University and The Farmer School of Business.
He serves as a Member of the Dean’s Council, W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, Board of Trustees, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and the Business Advisory Board, University of Arizona. He is also a member of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) and Greater Phoenix Leadership.
