Elbit Systems of America was selected by the U.S. Army for the production and delivery of 120mm mortar cannons as part of the overall supply by the company of complete mortar systems, including baseplates, bipods, stowage kits and other items.

This selection follows more than a decade during which Elbit Systems of America has provided the U.S. Army with Mortar Fire Control Systems that process ballistics for all current ammunition and links mortars to the digital battlefield, all while providing flexibility for Soldiers on foot or aboard ground vehicles. Elbit Systems of America has provided the mortar weapon systems themselves since 2016 and the recent addition of the 120mm cannons marks an important milestone for the program.
